For over 25 years the Newtronic Ignition system has been
recognised as a high quality contact breaker replacement
system for a large range of motorbikes and cars. Originally called the Piranha system, it was changed to Newtronic some years ago and in 2006 the product range was acquired by Autocar Electrical Equipment Co. Ltd. Autocar are the manufacturers of the highly respected Lumenition Optronic and Magnetronic ignition systems and accordingly have brought 40 years of ignition management experience to the re-manufacture of the range using modern manufacturing methods. Please note that not all of the Newtronic range has been brought back into production at this time but the most popular motorcycle systems are available and can be identified on the application pages on this site.
